Join Rev. Bassam Madany, founder of Middle East Resources, for an evening class entitled The Christian Response to the Global Challenge of Islam. In Rev. Madany's words, "Almost everyone is aware of the revival of Islam. And there are various reasons for this sudden interest in a religion that has been in existence for almost 1400 years. Some are political, some economic and some religious. My interest, however, lies in the area of the Christian mission to Islam."
Classes will be held Thursdays, April 7, 14, 21 & 28 at 7:30 pm. The following lectures will be covered:
April 7: "What if Islam is More Than a Religion?"
April 14: "Algerians Alienated from Islam are Turning to Christ"
April 21: "The Debacle of the Common Word Initiative: The Attempts of Muslims to Paint Islam as a 'Peaceful' Faith"
April 28: "Reflections on Islam in Context: Past, Present, and Future, by Peter G. Riddell and Peter Cotterell"
