Dr. Marcus Mininger

Associate Professor in New Testament Studies

Dr. Marcus Mininger is an ordained minister of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church, the church in which he was born and raised and in which his father is also a lifelong minister. He presently serves the OPC’s Presbytery of the Midwest by helping examine candidates for licensure to preach. He has also enjoyed preaching and teaching at many Reformed churches across the country.

Dr. Mininger is finishing his doctoral dissertation at Westminster Theological Seminary on the theme of revelation in Romans 1:16-3:26. In the past, he has taught courses at Princeton Theological Seminary, St. Joseph’s University (PA), and Westminster Theological Seminary. He has delivered papers at various scholarly conferences and contributed articles to periodicals such as the Princeton Seminary Bulletin, Koinonia, and New Horizons. Recently, he was appointed as a co-editor of the Mid-America Journal of Theology. He is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society and the Society of Biblical Literature.
