2024 Spring Student Lectures w/ Dr. Carl Trueman

Mark your calendars!
We're thrilled to host Dr. Carl Trueman (Professor of Biblical & Religious Studies at Grove City College) for our 2024 Spring Student Lecture series on the afternoon of Thursday, March 21, 2024. Dr. Trueman will lead us in a series of talks titled "What is Man?" along the lines of his work in Rise and Triumph of the Modern Self and Strange New World: How Thinkers and Activists Redefined Identity and Sparked the Sexual Revolution. In these lectures, Dr. Trueman will analyze our current cultural revolution and how it has influenced society’s perception of the self and identity. He will examine how we conceptualize the individual versus the collective identity in modern times. Additionally, Dr. Trueman will discuss evolving interpretations of authentic identity in contemporary culture.

The Lectures will be delivered as follows:
Thursday, March 21 (1:00 pm): "Why is 'What is Man' Such a Hard Question to Answer Today?"
Thursday, March 21 (2:30 pm): "Thoughts on a Churchly Response"
