2024 Fall Evening Class with Dr. Andrew Compton

Join us as Dr. Andrew Compton leads us in a 4-part Fall Evening Class, A Prophetic Priest in Exile: A Survey of the Message of Ezekiel. Though many approach the book with trepidation or bewilderment, this class will help readers to better understand and appreciate the unique message Ezekiel had for Judah in exile and the way in which that message is significant for Christians today.

Each class session will examine three different elements of Ezekiel’s message:

October 31: Ezekiel’s encounter with God’s Glory, Ezekiel’s priestly-prophetic call, and Ezekiel’s sign-acts.

November 7: Ezekiel’s message of judgment, Ezekiel’s uncomfortable analogies, and Ezekiel’s messages for the foreign nations

November 14: The Prince of Tyre and the Antichrist, Ezekiel and Judah’s leaders, Ezekiel’s promise of the Spirit and Resurrection Life

November 21: Gog, Magog, and the End of the Millennium, Ezekiel’s Temple, Revelation and Ezekiel on the New Creation

The class will begin at 7:30 p.m. on four Thursday nights (Oct. 31 and Nov. 7, 14, & 21). The class will meet for 45 minutes, followed by a 15-minute break, then another 45 minutes of lecture, and then a time of Question and Answer.

The cost of this class is free! On-campus registration can be found here. Click here for live-stream registration.
